Patti & Kelley from Evolution Salon invited me to photograph their Cut-A-Thon today.  It was a lot of fun and they raised $1362 for the Susan G. Last night's photo class was quite fun!  It was overcast so it was a little more difficult to see the light but I believe everyone faired well.  That is always the hardest part, seeing the light.  Doing it for over 13 years as I have it just comes naturally...even watching TV shows or movies.  I love taking photos of family portrait photography here at Springton Manor Farm.  I made this photo a high contrast black and white portrait photograph to make it a bit more interesting, more of a fine art style portrait.  She has a great smile too!  Hit the read link to see more photos from yesterday & stop back to see more photo class pictures.

I decided to combine both Wednesday and Thursday's photos into one post since I did not shoot as much this week.  We worked on a bit of posing again and talked about lighting as well as how to look for natural reflectors and scrims.  Next week we are off to West Chester...evening/night shooting!  Hit the read link to see more photos from today & stop back to see more photo class pictures.

I photographed the Appadiditt Farm Horse Show today.  It was a lot of fun & I captured plenty of the usual photos as well as my signature journalistic images.  The little kids were so cute and had great smiles.  I can't wait to do it again next time! Hi Everyone,
Another fun time at Springton Manor Farm with the Thursday Photography Class.  We went over exposure, posing, seeing the light & I started to work on angles.  The light faded fast as we could have used another hour or two.   Hit the read link to see more photos from today & stop back to see more photo class pictures.

Jack Ansley hosted a photography and art show at his studio this weekend.  Jack invited myself and a few other artists too.  Bridget Hanley, Mary Hunt Davis, Jack Ansley, Bonnie Cotter, Gene Coggins, & Wendy Stasen. We were able to raise almost $1400 to beneifit the Ansley Photo Finish MS Bike Team, captained by Kevin Ansley.

We talked a lot of shop (or Photoshop) and had a very nice day on Sunday.  Saturday the weather wasn't quite as nice but we still had a good turnout.  Jack's studio was packed with art everywhere!  Please contact me if you would like photos from the event.
